JIOC J3 OPS Center
Brief Description: The JIOC requires IO and IT expertise to
assist in planning and analytical support to COCOM staffs and other DoD or
government agencies, as well as providing oversight and coordination of JIOC
reporting to USSTRATCOM on center-wide support to IO initiatives. The OPCENTER
manages numerous JIOC functions. These functions include (but are not limited
to) tracking/projecting all JIOC personnel resource commitments (CST
activities, training, etc.), processing all external and internal JIOC
taskings, acting as OPR for the consolidated Joint Quarterly Readiness Review,
reviewing Operations Orders (OPORDs) and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs), drafting
JIOC input to the USSTRATCOM OPORD, reviewing message traffic for JIOC items of
interest, providing administrative operational support to the Command Section
during crisis/exercise operations, processing/tracking reachback support
requests from CSTs and combatant commander IO Cells (and delivering appropriate
products/responses), and maintaining the status of all deployed JIOC personnel.
