Job Description:
Implement a web-based, data collection, tracking and reporting system that is both comprehensive and user friendly. The development of the ARRA Weatherization Data Collection System will provide functionality to enable the to electronically track clients, funding streams, expenditures, and types of measures provided, energy savings data, inventory, materials list, and other required reporting criteria.
Modify and enhance the existing weatherization foundational database;
Develop and/or modify web-based applications including web page development using VB.Net, ASP.Net and Java;
Provide technical support for servers dedicated to the MDHS Weatherization Application;
Test and debug Internet applications;
Validate security infrastructure for web page confidentiality;
Work with end users to modify and implement program area requests;
Assist in performing portal maintenance;
Provide recommendations for required software and hardware;
Minimum Qualifications:
5 years VB.Net Programming
5 years ASP.Net Programming
5 years JAVA Programming
5 years Portal Maintenance Programming
5 years Analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of large or complex development projects on large scale systems
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft Customer Relationship Management
DB2
Knowledge of the Weatherization ARRA Program
