Title: Boeing SMA Contract - WARHAWK Awarded to SES
SES is the managing member of the new Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Joint Venture company, WarHawk. SES has partnered with Blackhawk Management Corporation to form Warhawk Joint Venture. Blackhawk is a certified Women Owned Small Business providing Logistics, Information Technology, Training and Weapon Systems Sustainment around the world to customers in difficult and even hostile environments for the last 20 years.
WarHawk, as a sub-contractor, was recently awarded the Safety and Mission Assurance Support (SMA) contract with Boeing and will provide Boeing with administrative, engineering, and technical support services for the Safety and Mission Assurance of Boeing’s Space and Launch Program with NASA over the next 4 years. This contract provides direct support to NASA’s Space Flight Mission Operations for the International Space Station program. Work will be performed from Johnson Space Center, Houston, TX; Kennedy Space Center, Titusville, FL; San Antonio, TX, and Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, AL. With an effective start date of 1 October 2020, we will soon welcome 13 new exceptionally qualified; Quality; Software Quality; System and Payload Safety Engineers to the SES team.
